The Basic Court in Pristina made a landmark decision in December 2019, affirming the right to change both name and sex marker in personal documents to Blert Morina from Kosovo.

A gay couple was attacked Saturday, July 2nd in Prishtina, Kosovo. The perpetrator was the owner of the house they were renting as their sexual orientation and relationship was discovered by him.
Last Friday night two gay men became victims of a homophobic attack in Ferizaj a town 35 km from Pristina, in Kosovo. One of the victims was badly injured over his body and face and is now under hospital treatment. Four men were identified as attackers and are now under police arrest.
