LGBTI Equal Rights Association for Western Balkans and Turkey
The “Intersex research study in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Serbia” was commissioned by UNDP to stimulate the development of a framework of action and provide a possible way forward in advancing the human rights of intersex people. The objective of the study is to raise awareness on the situation of intersex persons and to inform governments, key stakeholders and practitioners in the Western Balkans about current ethical and human rights developments, including current global good practice to protect and empower intersex people.
