The OHCHR publication "Standards of Conduct for Tackling Discrimination against LGBTI people" launched in September 2017 provides five concrete steps that companies can take to align their policies and practices with international standards on human rights of LGBTI people.
Center for Research and Development of society IDEAS in collaboration with ERA member Regional Info Center (RIC), have published their yearly LGBTI+ research, in order to collect data about te position of LGBTI+ persons. The goal of this research is in one hand to increase visibility of the challenges that LGBTI+ persons face every day, and in other hand provide important data for political and measure development in order to secure full respect of human rights of LGBTI+ persons.

ERA’s Annual General Assembly is the biggest LGBTI event organized in the region since 2015. The conference is a lobby, advocacy, capacity building and visibility event which brings together more than 160 participants from across the region, Europe and beyond. LGBTI activists, state officials (governments, Parliaments, equality bodies etc.), donors, researchers, journalists, diplomatic community, representatives of international organizations and members of the local community attend the event.

Standarde je razvila Kancelarija Ujedinjenih nacija za ljudska prava u partnerstvu sa Institutom za ljudska prava i poslovanje, a zasnovani su na ishodu niza regionalnih konsultacija održanih 2016. i 2017. godine u Mumbaju, Njujorku, Kampali i Briselu.
The LGBTIQ Employment Equality Index is the first of its kind in Albania as well as in the non-EU states of the Balkans. It is a ranking system to determine how well companies respect the rights and dignity of LGBTIQ persons in their hiring, training, development, and general employment practices. In addition, it rates their compliance with local labor laws on the topic. The Headhunter Group, has decided to launch such an Index as part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and Workplace Diversity.
United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein today launched an unprecedented set of global standards to support the business community in tackling discrimination against lesbian, gay, bi, trans and intersex people.
