LGBTI Equal Rights Association for Western Balkans and Turkey
Vuk Raičević was involved in human rights issues since his student days at the Antidiscrimination Legal Clinic at his faculty. He volunteered for several national CSOs in Serbia, such as YUCOM, and for OHCHR office in Belgrade. Since 2014, he worked for CSO Praxis in Belgrade on several positions, including Antidiscrimination and Gender Equality Programme Coordinator. Throughout his proffessional engagement, Vuk has gained extensive experience in advocacy on domestic and international level, legal protection of human rights, research and analysis on various human rights topics, statelessness, discrimination and gender equality,as well as lecturing and project management.
Vuk holds a Bachelor degree in Law and Master degree in International law (LL.M.), both from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law. His master thesis is titled „Rights of members of LGBTI population in jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights“. He gained additonal human rights knowledge from informal education, including being alumni of Human Rights School „Vojin Dimitrijević“ of Belgrade Center for Human Rights.
