Moja mavrica Institute

The Moja mavrica Institute is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that focuses on community support for marginalised individuals (specifically LGBTQ+ people, people who struggle with mental health, neurodiverse people and the intersections of those groups) through psychosocial and peer counseling, career orientation, street campaigns and field work, addressing safety in public spaces, intercultural activities, non-formal learning, healthy lifestyle, ecofeminism, suicide prevention and the organization of volunteer work.

We operate on the principles of social work and regularly collaborate with the University of Ljubljana as well as civil society organisations from Slovenia and abroad.

Through our comprehensive approach (combining direct community engagement, educational initiatives, research, and advocacy) we provide a structured, supportive, and evidence-based environment that promotes the resilience and mental well-being of our target groups.
